Saturday, September 25, 2010 is the date of our Annual Casino Gala fundraiser for the Campbell River Hospital.

The world renowned Painters Lodge will be the backdrop of the 2010 Gala, with a sumputious dinner in the main dining room and the Casino and dancing in the Granny Painter room.  

 'Make Miracles Happen'. The choice of this captivating setting & the late summer date is sure to lend an extraordinary ambience not seen before.

Our focus for this event is the purchase of a Portable Ultrasound Unit in our Emergency Department.  This diagnostic tool plays an extremely valuable role in assisting the Doctor with the ability to quickly determine the extent of an injury or medical situation at the patient's bedside.  On average the Emergency Department in our hospital receives more than 27,000 visits per year and when time is of the utmost importance the ability to diagnosis quickly and accurately is essential.  The Portable Ultrasound Unit will give the Emergency Department Doctors the ability to help patients that need it most and effectively plan and implement the next crucial steps.
