The merchants of the Campbell River Common are pleased to invite you to participate in our 3^nd Annual Enchanted Christmas Tree Forest.  

 Did you know that 1 in 10 Canadians has a speech, language or hearing problem?  Speech-language pathologists and audiologists are professionals that identify, evaluate and rehabilitate children and adults who have speech, language or hearing disorders. These disorders can afflict anyone from children with articulation disorders, stuttering and language disabilities to adults that may have suffered a stroke or brain injury or have a degenerative disease such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). 

 Your participation will help purchase Speech/Language Pathology equipment for the Rehabilitation Department.  This equipment will assist our Speech-language pathologists and audiologists to help people make their lives richer, more productive and enjoyable through improved communication skills.

 You can be a part of this special fundraiser in 2010 by sponsoring and decorating a live Christmas tree.  The cost to sponsor a tree is $150 and this includes a tree stand and sign with your company name and logo.  To help us raise as much as possible, may we suggest that your tree include either a gift or two under it or be decorated in a theme that includes items that can be used?  We have had trees decorated in a garden theme, clothing, fishing lures, there are no limits.  

 On Thursday, November 25^th between 5:30pm and 8:00pm the Christmas trees will be available to decorate and our Auction will take place on Thursday, December 16^th at 5:30pm in the centre court of the Campbell River Common.  Mayor Charlie Cornfield will be on hand as auctioneer and as with past years, he will encourage everyone to bid generously in support of our Hospital.
