2010 Walk for Hearts - The annual event sponsored this year by both the Courier Islander & North Island Co-op. Sunday May 2, 2010. Registration 1:00 pm, with The Walk begining at 1:30. Wind up at the Willow Point Hall by 2:30 for a special presentation by Mayor Charlie Cornfield, & the ever poplular prize draws. Snacks supplied before & after the Walk, Rich Hangesen will be entertaining the crowd with his music, & a prize for all the kids who participate. 11th Annual Trivia Night! New Night! Same great event! 2010 Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, May 8 at the Willow Point Sportsplex. Traditionally held in February, we have had to move the date due to trivia master Glen Greenhill overseeing events for the Olympics at the Richmond Oval. So we have a bit more time to come up with a wacky team name and study up on your facts. $15 per person - 8 people per team/table $120.00 per team. See you in May.
